Prior to joining Alexander Construction, Troy studied NZCAD & CAD and then spent 14 years working in many of the diverse fields of the building industry, including six years as a self-employed building contractor. Troy’s expertise ranges from residential to large commercial, with the Elephant Hill Estate and Winery development (for John Blair), Ohakea Helicopter Simulator Building, HBDHB Mental Health Unit and Tumu Havelock North being successfully completed under his direct management. Other successful projects completed by Troy’s team are the Royston Hospital redevelopment and Meridian Wind Farm O&M Building. Troy became a Director and Shareholder of the company in 2009.
