Trinity Methodist Church
Scope of work
The build was made up of many different parts, including fire rating the church nave, transept and kitchen foyer area, updating the kitchen and toilet area, and building a new 100m2 event room with kitchen, toilet and storage area to the rear of the Church.
The linings in the foyer and kitchen area were removed and new walls were built to make a new toilet area, and a new kitchen and toilets were installed. The roof to the Church was replaced.
All rotten timbers around the entire Church were removed, repaired and repainted.
The fibre cement linings in the nave and transept area were removed and replaced with fire rated linings, all the timber work in that area was intumescent painted, with new air conditioning installed.
The existing exterior buttress was stripped back and new 2.4mtr x 1.2mtr foundations and reinforcing added, then attached to the old buttress supports and relined, cross braces were added to the subfloor of the building as well.
