Port Ahuriri School

The project completed in March 2022 consisted of a major refurbishment and extension of all existing buildings. Individual classrooms were significantly refurbished, strengthened and any decay replaced.  The spaces were enlarged to form innovative open plan Learning Hubs complemented by new sheltered outdoor Learning Spaces.  5 carefully planned construction phases enabled staff and students to maintain the best possible learning and working environments while the school was being rebuilt around them.  The collaboration between Alexanders, Ministry of Education and the school was critical in achieving this.
