Tonchi joined ACCL in March 2026 and brings over 35 years of experience across design, manufacturing, estimating and cost management, land development, and project and construction management. Tonchi has a long history with Summerset Group and was instrumental in the development and construction of 19 of their retirement villages throughout New Zealand.
Tonchi is responsible for overseeing the Central groups operations and financial performance. With strong national relationships across the built environment, Tonchi is actively involved in championing the company as a preferred contractor in the competitive tender and ECI marketplaces, while developing and maintaining high-performing teams that deliver high-quality outcomes within a zero-harm culture.
