Kennedy Park Cabins
Scope of work
This project was procured through a Design/Build tender process direct to the Napier City Council.
It incorporates 16 cabins units, timber framed construction with the necessary fire and acoustic separations. The project was a turn-key development so included the furniture, (including beds and cabinets) and appliances.
In addition to the time frame constraints, the client also wanted minimal disruption on site as it is a popular tourist accommodation provider in Napier. To achieve both of these objectives we built half of the units off site while we ran the underground services and prepared the foundations.
The project was required to be completed for the Christmas period which meant we only had 4 months from design of the project to obtain building consent and construct the buildings. By partnering with the right teams, we delivered on time and on budget.
