People may only know us for our large-scale commercial construction work, but we’re just as awesome with new home builds, alterations and repairs too. That’s what makes me proud to be part of the Alexanders team – we apply the same great systems and processes to every job and we want to deliver the best for every single client, every time.
Josh started his career in the building industry at the age of 16 where he gained an apprenticeship with a local commercial construction firm. After a couple of years he decided he wanted to settle into the residential construction sector to complete his apprenticeship. Once qualified he continued working with a Hawke’s Bay firm completing all forms of projects from new builds to alterations.
In early 2011, when the Christchurch Earthquake struck, the Hawke’s Bay construction market was quiet so Josh decided it would be a good career opportunity for him to move south. During his time in Christchurch his family grew and so did his career in commercial construction and project management.
After 7 years in the south it was time to head home to Hawkes Bay. Josh started with the Alexander Hometeam in October 2018 as a Project Manager servicing contracts and helping out where required and in early June 2019 he was offered the position of Manager of the Hometeam. He is now Manager of Alexander Construction HB Ltd.
